  2. Qaxxar il-haxix kollu u aqta f’bicciet imdaqsin. Poggi il- haxix kollu fil- qiegh ta’ borma jew casserole . Important li ikun jinghalaq tajjeb b’ ghatu
  3. Poggi il-laham fuq il-haxix u zid l-istokk, bzar shih, ftit melh u meraq tal-lumija. Sajjar forn moderat ghal madwar siegha u nofs . Important li fil-casserole ikun hemm ftit stokk. Dan irid jigi qisu roast.
  4. Meta il-laham ikun lest. Nehhi mill-casserole. Hallih jiksah u wara aqta’ fi 8 bicciet 2 ghal kull persuna.

Ingredients Makes about 8 cups

2 cups rolled oats

1 cup unprocessed bran

1 cup shredded coconut

185gr silvered almonds

1/2 cup wheat germ

1/2 soya bean grits

1/2 skim milk powder

1/2 cup honey

1/4 oil

60gr unsalted butter 3/4 cup chopped dried apricots

3/4 cup pitted prunes

Method

Combine first 8 ingredients in large shallow dish . Combine honey , oil and butter in a bowl .

Cook on high 1 minute stir into dry ingredients. Cook on high 6 minutes, stir well . About 3 times during cooking . Cook add apricots and prunes . Store in airtight container in the refrigerator

Fish prepared in the oven  


Ingredients serve 2

1*Sea arches  or any fish

Onion sliced

2*garlic cloves diced

1*fresh tomato sliced

8-15 capers

3-6 olives diced

Pepper

Basil leaves or mint leaves

Tin foil

Method

Prepare all the ingredients before proceeding . Spread tin foil on a baking tray . 

Place the fish on a baking tray.  Place the fish in the center and spread some of the mixture of onion , garlic tomato , olive , capers and spices over and around the fish.

Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice .  Cover the fish and cook in the oven for approximately 20-35 minutes , until such time as the fish is ready .

This is a delicious served with some roasted vegetables .
