Common sweet short crust


Ingredients

225gr plain flour

45grgr butter 25gr caster sugar

150ml milk

method Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs then stir in the sugar

Bring the milk to the boil in a small saucepan and kneald until smooth . use at once by rolling out thinly and kneald until smooth . Use at once by rolling out thinly on a light flavoured surface .

Makes about 350gr
